You can now rescue the princess on Playstation Vita, iOS and Android for Free. Fat Princess: Piece of Cake includes a brand-new strategic match-three game.
Fat Princess:Piece of Cake has been available on iOS and Android for a while now but is now available for the PS Vita. The game has well over 55 levels which spread across 5 different landscapes. You will use your red army to attempt to smash through the Blue army with 4 different character classes to choose from. The PS Vita version also supports Trophies.
Gameplay is quite simple and easy to learn but you’ll need to strategically upgrade your characters – the Knights attack single enemies for high damage, a Ranger whose gun can blast enemies in the front row, a Demolition specialist with bombs to stun all enemies, and a Wizard to heal your troops.
But what about the Princess?
The game isn’t called “Fat Princess” for nothing…the princess is hungry, really hungry, feed cake to the princess by matching special tiles to unleash her devastating slam attack, trigger massive combos to save the day and her Kingdom.
The mobile version offers the game for Free when you reach level 15. For this you must have an active Facebook account to receive the voucher code and you will also need a valid Sony Entertainment Network account to redeem that voucher code to download the game to your PS3 console.
Yea, but is it really free?
“Fat Princess: Piece of Cake is a free-to-play game set in an incredible universe and can be played without making in-app purchases, however some in-game items such as power-ups and character upgrades can be acquired through in-app purchases”
Telltale Games revealed a gift for iOS fans who haven’t yet tried out their game adaptation of The Walking Dead: Episode 1. The game is free ‘for a limited time’ – this was available since the 18th but I just checked and is still free as of this posting. I have downloaded and played episodes 1 through 3 so far on PS3 and it is awesome, so I really encourage those that have not had the opportunity to play this to at least check it out, hey, its free! This episode starts off a five-part series that’s been gaining more and more accolades (including the VGAs’ Game of the Year award) as 2012 comes to an end. The iOS version of Episode 1 takes up 331 MB of space, and will run on iPhone 4, iPad 2, and newer devices.
If you like what you see in Episode 1, the other episodes are available as in-app purchases for $5 each, or $15 for all four as a pack. I included the link below. Enjoy the Zombie slaying people 🙂

Studio working on three multiplayer titles for iOS, PC-only, and consoles
The Brink developer has released a teaser trailer for new PC-only multiplayer shooter Dirty Bomb, which is powered by Unreal Engine and appears to be set in London, based on the image below.
The studio is also making a game for consoles, but its next release will be the newly announced RAD Soldiers, “referred to internally as ‘Guns with Friends'”, on iOS devices in June 2013.A press release describes WarChest as a publisher of “free digitally distributed games with high production values for all leading platforms”.
WarChest CEO Wedgwood said: “Gamers should be free to switch devices at will without leaving their favourite game universe and friends behind. Our strategy delivers meaningful experiences that contribute to player engagement and advancement, irrespective of their physical location.
“For WarChest’s games, our goal is connectedness – you might battle your friends via your smartphone or tablet in a turn-based tactics game during your commute, connect with them on your PC once you’re home, sneak into their base in their absence while playing on your console, and then share cool technology with them from your desktop browser at work.”
Now, console gamers can wear their World of Warcraft faction’s colors with pride. For a limited time, you can claim free Horde and Alliance shirts for your Xbox Live avatar.
All you have to do is log into Xbox Live, click on the Mists of Pandaria advertisement, watch the trailer, and then click on the “Free Avatar Gear” button. The advertisement will run until October 6, 2012. Don’t miss it!
Note: Ads on the Xbox Live dashboard are random, but it will be available on the Home screen the entire day of Sunday, September 23.
