The Amazing Spider-Man on PlayStation Vita Outed by Amazon

If we were lesser men, we could have tried to put something hopeful in the title to this story like ‘Amazon France Outs a New Retail PlayStation Vita Game’, or if we weren’t as kind, something along the lines of ‘The PlayStation Vita is Getting a New Game…It’s a Port of a Port’.

No matter which way you look at this though, it isn’t very exciting news, with Amazon France outing The Amazing Spider-Man for PlayStation Vita. They give it a full price and October 30th release date (meaning North America might see it on October 29th), with a logical guess having the extra content found within the Wii U port being included in this port:

  • Stan Lee Adventure Pack
  • Lizard Rampage Pack
  • Rhino Challenge
  • Oscorp Search and Destroy Pack
  • New suits

We’ve reached out to Activision about The Amazing Spider-Man on PlayStation Vita and we’ll let you know if we hear anything back.

Assassin’s Creed Anthology revealed

Ubisoft is planning to release an all-in-one compilation of the Assassin’s Creed series. The Assassin’s Creed Anthology, including five full games, has popped up on retailer websites.

The Anthology was spotted at Amazon France among other places. It features Assassin’s CreedAssassin’s Creed IIAssassin’s Creed: BrotherhoodAssassin’s Creed: Revelations, and Assassin’s Creed III. All of the DLC for each game is included as well. For Assassin’s Creed 3, you’ll get the Season Pass that entitles you to five add-ons over the next six months.

Ubisoft didn’t formally announce this compilation before retailers posted it. However, after the cat was out of the bag, they confirmed the news to Eurogamer. They promise that additional details will be released later this week.

Amazon’s listing says that Assassin’s Creed Anthology will arrive on November 29th. It’ll cost 150 Euros, which is about $192 here in the United States. Only PS3 and Xbox 360 versions have been mentioned by retailers thus far.

There’s been no word of a North American release for this bundle yet. We’ll see what Ubusoft says in a few days, though
