Super Mario Maker Maintenance Scheduled For Next Week

You won’t be able to access Super Mario Maker‘s online features for two whole hours next week. That’s because the game will be undergoing maintenance this Monday, December 28, from 5:50 to 7:30 p.m. PT, when all network services will be unavailable. You’ll still be able to play offline as usual during the maintenance window. Super Mario Maker’s latest update implemented new objects such as Bumpers and the P Warp Door.

Dragon Quest 1-8 will soon be appearing on mobile platforms. This suggests that the next Dragon Quest game might be exclusive to both tablet and smartphone devices.

I have been working in video game retail for almost 10 years now. I love my job. Some of my best memories begin with loving, bewildered parents walking into our store, naïve to the gaming world but eager to learn. I would find myself talking to them about platform choices, game franchises, and getting started online. I’d then enlighten them with my own gaming experiences with my kids. This approach got them interested in what their children were doing and encouraged them to play the games alongside their kids.P

There is no better feeling than a happy parent returning to my store, pleased with my previous advice, and wanting more product.P

Farewell Mr. Tom Clancy

Sad news have arrive, the best-selling author, and co-founder of Red Storm studio, the acclaimed Tom Clancy, has passed away, as confirmed by The New York Times.

We, as gamers, know his name for the different quite successful franchises he has a big part in, such as Rainbox Six, Ghost Recon, and Splinter Cell. But his initial fame comes from his writing.

As part of his career in the gaming industry, he co-founded Red Storm Studios, which were then purchased by Ubisoft, who has posted a statement in regards to this huge loss:
