Bravely Default Gameplay Trailer


First announced in Jump Magazine, Bravely Default: For The Sequel returns to the 3DS on December 5th, 2013 in Japan. The game will have support for save data from the original Bravely Default. According to the Japanese website, the game will have over 100 improvements and new features. Chief among them is support for Japanese or English voiceovers and text in Japanese, English, French, Italian, German, or Spanish.

  1. Been stoked for this one since E3. I recall reading that it was a sort of spiritual successor to FF4, which gets my juices flowing.

    The level and world design look phenomenal based on that trailer. Can’t tell much about the battle system, though–any word on whether it’s turn-based or action?

  2. I can’t wait for this! Didn’t want to spoil myself by playing the Japanese version since I was afraid of them doing “extra content” again for the English launches! ><

  3. Unbelievably, I didn’t know much about this game until a few weeks ago. Downloaded the demo when I read it described somewhere as a ‘spiritual successor to Four Heroes Of Light’ and now I’m stomping my foot like an impatient child waiting for the release! FHOL is tiding me over for now…
