WordPress Family Award

Hello everyone. I am very excited and at the same time so very humbled to announcing that I have been nominated for the WordPress Family Award by John Heatz and 1001-UP.com. What started out a little over 1 year ago as curiosity about blogging and a deep love for my interests and hobbies to actually sit down and start my blog about it really demonstrated to myself that I and all of us can do what we aspire to do. I will admit I procrastinate alot. It’s not easy. I probably have ADD “Attention Deficit Disorder”, so that just makes it all the more harder but it helps when your involved in something you love. I have been thinking about starting another Blog about another interest of mine which is Video editing and VFX so I can also share my projects to others for feedback as well. Yea, just pile more stuff on my already heavy plate. LOL. While I do have a full time job, I just started this week as an intern in a very cool VFX studio here in Midtown Manhattan, so It has been an exciting week for me. Anyway, thats pretty much what’s going on in my life.

If you’re nominated for the award, the following rules must be adhered to:

• The award logo must be displayed on your blog.

so without further ado, I present the 10 WordPress sites I nominate which is rule #2. Rule #1 was putting up the WordPress Family Logo.

Please understand that this list does not go in any special order because I think of all of you as very special. There are thousands of Blogs here that are special in their own way and they all fill a very special need to our community. I thank all of you who continue to blog and supply us will wonderful endless content, I encourage those who are on the sidelines thinking about blogging to just Go for it! and those that have just started I welcome you as we all look forward to what you have to share and say.

RocketNews24 – If you love news from Japan and Asia as I do, take a look at this blog. It has some of the craziest,informative and fun stuff happening. I always get a kick learning about what is going on over there.

Nhan-Fiction – Wonderful site with good content and Japanese and other artwork as well.

TwinStickGaming – Cool site related to news and reviews on the gaming industry.

Icesabel – IceSabel talks mostly about anything she feel like. Great blog and also a gamer and way cool RPG fan. Give her site a look.

What’s Your Tag? – Great site on gaming,comics, videos and reviews. A wonderful place to chill and read. Be sure to check out his shop also.

Mom Drives a Chocobo – Here is a mom after my own heart. She has a passion and love of everything Geeky and made a great blog about it. Anime,Manga,Games,Comics,Sci-Fi, and RPG’s,  you name it she loves it. Can’t wait to see what she writes about.

John Hawkes Design – A great site I found the other day. If you love Graphic Design, Animation and FX like I do, check it out.

Diario de una Chica Gamer – Translated: “Diary of a Gamer Chic”. I’m blessed in knowing 2 languages. If you know Spanish, do look at this site. she is an awesome gamer, lover of RPG’s etc..There are great blogs out there besides the ones in English. Now I really need to learn Japanese..LOL

CosPlay Nation – I just Love CosPlay, who doesn’t? If your interested in seeing people dressed up in authentic costumes of your favorite game and anime characters, this is the place to go.

Button Smashers – An awesome site for games,reviews and Anime. Very informative and fun. Definitely a page to follow.

Well those are my ten nominees, but I wish I could nominate more. I’ve learned alot from reading all of your blogs and look forward to reading and learning some more. After all, isn’t this why we Blog? Again, thanks to those who nominated me. I strive to continue to be a Blog where you continue to visit and recommend.
